Client: Rachel Hanson Photography
Location: Nebraska
Specialty: Weddings, Engagements & Family Photography
Vibe: Earthy. Adventurous. Warm.
Six years in business, a roster full of clients who adore her, and a brand that made her cringe every time she opened her own website. That’s where Rachel’s headspace was at when we first got talking.
Who Is Rachel Hanson Photography?
Rachel is a Nebraska-based photographer who has spent six years doing something most photographers only talk about: actually building real relationships with her clients. She photographs engagements, weddings, and families, but the way she describes her work tells you everything you need to know about who she is.
She doesn’t want to freeze a pose. She wants to freeze a FEELING. The exact feeling her clients had in the exact moment she clicked the shutter. Her clients describe her in three words: fun, creative, passionate.
Why She Came to Wild Cacti Creative
Rachel’s own words: her current branding was “very dull and doesn’t express what I want to accomplish.” She wanted to escalate her business to the next level. She knew she was operating at a higher level than her brand was communicating, and that gap was costing her.
She wasn’t just looking for a prettier logo. She was looking for a brand that finally felt like HER. Earth tones. Eye-catching but not overwhelming. Something that grabbed people immediately without making their eyes bleed.
Here’s the thing about designing for photographers. You’re not just designing for a service. You’re designing for a PERSON. And Rachel is a person worth knowing.
She’s got four dogs (Rue, Gabi, Lita, and Archie), she crochets, she runs on Diet Coke and pasta, her playlist contains Pink Pony Club and Zach Bryan in the same shuffle, and on the rare weekends she’s not working she’s home with her family. She’s the planner of her friend group. She’s fun, random, and sarcastic.

What This Project Was Really About
Rachel didn’t just need a rebrand. She needed her business to finally catch up to who she actually is and what she’s actually built over six years. She needed a brand that walks into a room the way she does: warm, confident, a little earthy, a lot fun, and completely worth trusting with the most important days of your life.
That’s what we built.
If you’re a Nebraska photographer (or anywhere, honestly) ready to finally have a brand and website that looks like YOU instead of a placeholder for who you might be someday, you know where to find me. (hint: it’s right here)
